| Sigri is a small fishing village, about 90 km from the main city of Mytilene, on the western side of the island of Lesvos. It has a year-round population of about 300, and its charm lies in the fact that it remains undiscovered and unspoiled by visitors. Very little changes in Sigri: it is a traditional Greek village, which awakes from its drowsy slumber during the month of August, when its tavernas and streets are peppered by its yearly visitors.
